Re: Boondock Saints
I saw it while tripping and thought it was funny. Almost a satire on the whole action movie w/out actually being a spoof. Enjoyable, but I agree that the hype doesn't live up to the movie.

Re: Boondock Saints
What kinda queer doesn't love this movie? I mean, a cat got killed in it. That scene alone put it firmly in the number three spot of my top ten movie list.

Re: Boondock Saints
The only good thing that came out of the production of this movie is the documentary 'Overnight'.

Re: Boondock Saints
I only heard of this movie because every young irish kid in mass splooges all over it. So I bought it a couple years ago and have enjoyed watching it. People still overrate it, but I enjoy the action and all the footage of Boston and don't find the acting to be completely terrible.
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] It's popular because it makes Irish-Americans look like heroes instead of wife-beating drunkards from the Somalia of Europe. [/ QUOTE ] die in a pipe bomb [/ QUOTE ] LOL @ Somalia of Europe. Good call jackass! [/ QUOTE ] LOL at knowledge of historical context. |
