just came from the course, Erick shot something like 85 87 and then 46 on the first 9 of his third round. I'd say he's a favorite (which isn't good for me).

He's tired, but playing safe and playing well.

This is extremely impressive.

i wonder if lindgren would rather win this bet, a bracelet, or whichever pays the most?

If he started @ 6 and was mid-third round @ 2:15, that's 8 1/4 hours for 45 holes, so it should take him 5 hours to do the last 27, meaning he'll finish around 7:15. Sunset in Vegas is @ 8:02 p.m.

I don't think this can be done. He will be so tired in the 4th round not only will his ball striking suffer, but it will be nearly impossible to focus on the greens and will give away several strokes. I'm predicting he'll shoot a 49 on the back for 95 total on round 3, then shoot a 105 in round 4.

I still think he is a dog here, walking that many miles in that heat can't be good. I would think those last 9 holes will be very hard to finish, especially if he needs to shoot around 50. He should get in under time I would think if all accounts are correct, possibly may be some negotiations on a buyout if either side thinks they are losing, but personally if Ivey/Smith make him finish the bet, I still think Lindgren is a dog here. It would be a pretty good feat if he makes it though, it's something I'm sure I couldn't do.
