Maybe no one cares, but Antonius and Chewigirl played some HU 1k/2k yesterday morning. Antonius dropped 132k from when I saw the match, but it may have been a bit more, then he left immediately after busting for like the 4th time.

limit often seems like glorified flipping to me. it's not like they never have good pots odds to keep going, regardless of what they have. it's whoever gets the luckiest with the cards?

[/ QUOTE ]

ya and NL is all about who flops more sets, amirite?

chiiiilll... (also @ the other guy) no I have never played HU limit which is why I say "it looks like". I am fully admitting that I have not got a single clue.

Then again, wtf, its bbv. Im not gonna say:

"wow, these two guys have 100x my bankroll on the table EACH and I cant figure out what they are doing. I guess this is why I always sucked at limit and never got any good at NL either. I have much respect for these people"

B B V people

bbv....

no he played it perfectly. i think villains hand range is A9, A4, 99, AA

iwatched some of this match for a while and was very surprised how straightforward it seemed alraisya was playing on the turn/river. i'm no HU expert (my $ was made 6max & full ring), but hand reading alraisya was far easier than i thought.

i don't see anything wrong w/ how bryce played that hand. if he raises again on the turn he at least has a max loss of 1 bet, but if he raises the river again and gets 3 bet, he's DOA.

arguably, he could 3 bet the flop (and should vs. tricker players) but not given the dynamic i saw earlier (alraisya would c'r all sorts of crap on the flop and bryce would 3 bet things like KJo nut no pair and check down the rest and win) thus, for obvious reasons that might lose a bit of action if he has an A and just check calls down (which is what he would have done imo on the turn instead of 3betting bryce. this way, he gets an extra bet on the turn, i dont think that guy would 3bet AK there).

I am not impressed by wins of less than 100k.

Wait, actually 99k is awesome. Good work.
