[/ QUOTE ] I guess you don't want my money [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] [/ QUOTE ] judging from the fact that several people have been carded for non-alcoholic beverages, it certainly appears that the waitresses have been told to card everyone asking for drinks. not tipping them because they card you would be a low-class move. when i was about 15 i was a cashier at a grocery store. every once in a while, their would be rumors of cops doing stings to try and catch people selling beer to minors. They would force us to card every single person who bought beer. similar situation, and we had no control.

Gaming or ABC gives business grief because of underage idiots sneaking in.
Management tells all employees, not just security, they must ID anybody who doesn't look like they participated in D-Day. Waitress does what she was told and cards a Cranky Old Man. C.O.M. posts on internet forum. Thread gets way too much play.

My Mom was gloating about how the waitress was so taken aback to learn that I was her son. Great for her. Sucks for me.

If that had been her I'm positive she would have told the waitress "that's not my husband. It's my young lover" and I would have spent the rest of lunch wondering why the waitress was looking at me strangely.

I have been carded at Venetian too, I am 28, but look 35. I took it as an opportunity to flirt with her. 99% of the waiteress there are relatively hot, even the older ones are the MILF types
