[/ QUOTE ] I agree and there is a lot of downgrading of his chatty hustling super gambool "style" of play, but if one includes Jen Harman's comments from HSP3 it sounds like Sammy certainly goes off for a big number here and there. IF anything it just sounds like full ring he's too impatient but short handed he's a demon.

lol people are surprised that Sammy is a winner? He's one of the best players in the world.
Read Barry's comments about him, "Sammy may be the most feared short-handed pot-limit Omaha player in the world. He is so good that we only play Omaha with him in mixed-games with one or two other games added. Even though his fame came from his second place finish to Moneymaker in the 2003 WSOP finale, hold’em is not his forte. His fearlessness carried him through that event. " And clearly Sammy has improved in hold 'em as well, he schooled HSP 1. Everyone just remembers the flushes, but he also bluffed about 90,000,000 pots. (Not really, that's an exxagerated number)

its pretty obvious with rumors like this that HSP 3 is going to be the best season ever.
think about it. if one has the choice of railing aba20/green plastic or TheTerrorist/IDreamOfJenna/durrrrr, it's pretty obvious that you'd rather watch the latter. that same principle is why watching farha and elezra go bananas-psycho and brad booth's kaboomshove with five high is way superior to aba pulling a brilliant 4-bet preflop play in terms of ratings. much as i hate to say it, the producers are right. and that's why HSP is the best poker show on TV by far, and why aba, jman, and guys like ilya trincher can't expact to get much airtime ever again.
