Man, I really don't enjoy tattoos, generally. There are few exceptions. One that I can think of: a friend of mine has "F = ma" tattooed on his shoulder, which I think is hilarious.

[/ QUOTE ] That would be pretty funny to get on your knuckles I think. Although the kind of people who that would apply to their knuckles probably wouldn't know what it meant. And the people who understood it would probably be smart enough to not get a tattoo on their knuckles.

The basic story behind it is that the sun is for my best friend who died in 1999 in a car accident with her initials in the middle. The tribal underneath is a design that a mutual friend of ours drew. I just think it looks nice together, like the sun is perched on top of the other design.

funny, i have appointment with my girlfriend to go get two more tattoos in about 15 minutes...
i'm getting the word 'karma' on the inside of my right bicep, and the outline of Ohio with a little star where my hometown is on my right shoulder.. she's getting the yoga symbol on her foot. *shrug* it's just funny that i found a tattoo thread about 10 minutes before i leave to go get some.. edit: this thread reminded me to call there, and they're behind, so now i have to wait until 3pm...variance, i guess.
