Curtains, I think a bluff river shove from villain with this line in Level 2 of the Stuper is rare.

Betgo, there's really no difficult situation on the river. If you check the river and he shoves you're beat often enough that folding is correct. So now you're argument is that you are protecting against his outs, when he almost always has 2-3 outs and some of them may give you a flush.

Calling the turn gives you the opportunity to stack him when he has a set and you hit your flush. Calling the turn gives you the opportunity to get away when he has a set and you miss. Calling the turn gives you the opportunity to rake the pot when he checks behind on the turn with mid pairs or weaker Ks that miss.

I agree it's rare, I'm just listing it as a theoretical reason to not just check call. I agree it's not really super relevant in this practical situation.

Results. Kind of a bad call by villain of the push. He actually had 6 outs. It is unlikely he has 14 outs.
