MB replied to an email inquiry and informed me that they permit the upload of funds from USD chequing accounts located in Canada. Between this, USD base transactions, and a transparent fees structure, they are getting my business.

PROFILE: COMPLETE CREDIT/DEBIT CARD VERIFICATION
You have entered the incorrect amount. You must wait 24 hours before we will allow you to make another attempt. Our service department will be unable to assist you during this period.

Important:

Please check again on your statement for the exact amount in USD. If your credit/debit card issuer does not show the amount in USD, you cannot verify your card with Moneybookers. Do NOT try and guess the amount!

grr does this mean i cant verify my credit card at all

Yeah, this part is ridiculous. I am in canada - went through setting up MB, just had the charge show up on my online MasterCard statemtne, entered the amount - and I got this same, stupid, f'n message.

I hate them all - but mostly Neteller.

epass has zero customer service, MB is stooopid, ACH Add Funds is useless, and for some reason I havent been able to find out, Instadebit rejected my first w/d yesterday.

I really, really, really am annoyed.

You are absolutely right - I have some there, and it went very smooth - lightning fast & easy too.

Unfortunately I want to play at other sites.

I'm trying to find a way to get some money offline and into my bank without converting it to CAD. Does anyone know if Moneybookers will let me cash out by check or EFT in USD?

This just should be for the limit increase...are you still able to use MB?

BTW, although this verification system IS annoying, it's not uncommon. EPassporte's is worse...there's isn't even a charge, it's some kind of preapproval that never shows up on your statement. I was never able to get a correct amount, and have been locked out after my two incorrect attempts. Been waiting for a response for weeks.

I just asked a check from MB, let's say how much time it's gonna take

[/ QUOTE ]

I look forward to your trip report. Thanks.

Mine took three weeks or more. Can't remember exactly as it was 2 months ago. The check has a German bank name on it but the check is actually drawn from a bank in the U.S. and is in U.S. currency.

I'm Canadian and live in Canada.

I won't list specific details on the check. Hope that helps.

Then of course, there's always Party EFT.

Thank you, I missed the post. And FYI, Party EFTs now force you to convert. The only ways to withdraw from them in USD is through a bank wire (which I'm trying to use but can't because the cashier is a stupid pos), a cashback to a USD Visa (which I don't have), and apparently Moneybookers. Thanks again.

I haven't tried to deposit the cheque yet. I'll probably do it tomorrow. I wonder how long it's going to take to clear. Two weeks? 30 days? Will it be sent for collection? Who knows. It's only like a few dollars so I'm not that concerned.

How long did Neteller U.S. cheques take to clear and were they drawn from a bank in the U.S. also? I only used EFT with Neteller and never cheques. I'll probably stick with bank wires since cheques are too slow to wait for and I don't have the patience to wait weeks plus clearing time.
