The reason my advice is bad is because I am a bad player. |

Re: Semi-Bluff on a Dry Board: $3/$6
fwiw I like to hear opinions that go against the grain - there is often more to be learnt from them, even if you think they are wrong. It's pretty silly getting all shirt with each other because you have different viewpoints.

Can you tell me what you think is bad? [/ QUOTE ] Okay.... [ QUOTE ] you aren't really folding any made hands [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I think villain will almost always call here and leave you in a terrible spot on the turn [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] the bet/3-bet alone looks pretty weak [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] In my opinion, if you take this line you should be firing the turn a lot aswell. [/ QUOTE ] I don't agree with any of those statements. I'm don't want to be an ass tho, I agree with the assertion that different viewpoints are good. |

Re: Semi-Bluff on a Dry Board: $3/$6
Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is BB with 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 folds, CO raises to $21, 2 folds, Hero calls. Flop: 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($45, 3 players) Hero bets $35, CO raises to $111, Hero raises to $255 Is this good? |

Re: Semi-Bluff on a Dry Board: $3/$6
I love this move. This would work very often against a player like me, which from the looks of it, seems to be this player.

Re: Semi-Bluff on a Dry Board: $3/$6
I think there is a lot of merit to just calling the flop raise and checking the turn. If turn goes ch/ch, villain almost certainly has nothing and you can lead the river if you don't hit.
