His opening range determines how often you should reshove, but his opening range has absolutely nothing to do with what hands you should be shoving with.

Sorry if that wasn't obvious.

A2 is in the range that makes up the frequency with which I should reshove.

Then maybe it shouldn't be since A2 is awful against his calling range.

I'm not saying you should nit up, I'm sure what you feel to be the correct reshove frequency is correct. I am just trying to say A2 shouldn't be in it.

Obv the suited connector is sooooooooooooooo much stronger than A2o....not.

If villain opens pretty much, but only calls with the tight range (~top 5%) pushing A2o is clearly correct anyway since you'll have huge FE. And if villain calls with the 'fair' range, the difference between 87s and A2o is small enough for a push to be correct anyway.

your "fair range" doesnt include near enough Ax's. aejones has 14BBs.

A bit of a difference (1%), but not enough to make pushing with A2o incorrect I believe...

Edit: wrong paste

yeah i think we have this discussion once every couple of months and are forced to remember that the whole myth of the power of suited connectors is, for the most part, just that.

not to mention Ax has the added advantage of their being less Ax's in the deck.

yeah yer right i didnt even notice that. once again, 14BBs. people aren't folding real hands here. calling range may even include some more two-broadway hands
