I am positive it has never cost this amount before. I distinctly noticed the price difference as soon as my order was repeated back to me through the loud speaker. It is my experience from eating fast food so much that prices fluctuate for whatever reason.

I carry zero cash and always use a debit card. I purchase <$2 items on a weekly basis and still use my debit card. Why use cash? I get 1% life rakeback by not using cash.

Polynesian sauce is way underrated.

Where do you live? The only Guthrie's I've seen has been in Alabama. Their chicken strips were awesome.

I think I'm addicted to Chick-Fil-A because of this thread. For the second Saturday in a row, and third time since this thread, I've driven way out of my way to get some Chick-Fil-A. The meal I've fallen in love with...

- Chargrilled Chicken Sandwich
- Waffle Fries
- Diet Dr. Pepper
- Coleslaw (put some on the sandwich...it's awesome!)

To me that's tastier than most burger meals and actually healthier (the coleslaw does cancel out a lot of the difference from a burger though). Maybe next time I'll try the Chicken Strips with Polynesian sauce.

They have a Guthrie's here in Athens, GA, near the freshman dorms. The kitchen caught on fire about a year or two ago and was closed for a while but it's open again. I heard Guthrie's and Zaxby's were somehow related and Zaxby's took off while Guthrie's, well... it burned down I guess.

Oh, and CFA is good for a fast food restaurant and the employees are usually friendly young girls, none of the 'downies' who can't count change.
