January 1, 2004 I logged into Party Poker to play online for the first time. Took my $300 roll to a 2/4 min bet table (lol). Played 100 hands and lost over $130. A short session at 1/2 was no better. I stopped playing and read Lee's "Winning Low Limit HoldEm". January 6 I got back on and was up $235 for the rest of the month and have never looked back.

I've never been a big Stars player except to clear an occasional bonus, but I still feel I owe Lee a lot.

Best of luck to Lee in his new position.

Weren't we promised a story about his future and his replacement? Never played pstars, but from the people with serious posts on this thread he was apparently a decent human being, and a pretty good poker room manager? Shame to have to lose him if you play stars i suppose.
