[ QUOTE ] Trouble is, you could have something bad happen *because* you stayed home. The logical conclusion is that you do what you normally do, but change your plans/path as soon as you suspect something dangerous awaits. [/ QUOTE ] this is really good advice. if something dangerous arises in your life, you should react to it, and, if possible, try to avoid it. LDO [/ QUOTE ] Do you walk under scaffolding if it is in your path? Do you walk under scaffolding if it is in your path and someone told you that something bad would happen to you that day? Obviously im not talking about seeing if your handgun is loaded by looking down the barrel or finding out what battery acid tastes like. |

[ QUOTE ]
an airplane will most likely crash into your house if you stay home. [/ QUOTE ] Yes, but if you don't, you'll be stalked by a guy in a creepy bunny costume, and no one likes that. |

I could be wrong, but I think this advice I give you may actually be good advice.
Don't leave the apartment, don't play poker. Your father has not predicted the future, but this is somewhat irrelevent. On the off chance that something did happen to you and your father was right, I am pretty sure that the pain it causes him by not being able to warn you would ruin his life enough that it is probably worth wasting a day for. At the same time, if you want to make your father miserable(not too sure how your relationship is with him), then carry on with your normal routine. |

OP: I am a REAL PSYCHIC. I have rolled the bones, consulted the stars, moon, etc., and it appears that your father is right. Great tragedy is foretold for you. Unfortunately, that's all I can tell without doing some very expensive psychic style [censored] to more accurately predict the tragic events that are coming. After I do this 10th level, ninja belt nostradamus/Alister Crowley thingamagig, you'll be able to sidestep the certain death that awaits you. The ritual starts with the "tradicadum" --thats the guy facing certain death(you) -- transfering all of his material wealth and goods (including and especially your poker bankroll)-- to the Psychic Future Alterium (that's me). So get moving, get me the $$$$$$. Additionally, it is usually important for the PSF to have "relations" with the girlfriend of the tradecadum, but I am never sure of the necissity of this aspect of the ritual until you send pics. Please hurry with the Pics and the loot, I for one would hate to see you die a fiery death when such an easy and obvious solution exists.

Now would seem to be a good time to make sure you have a buddy on call the 28th to clear out all the porn, drug paraphernalia and 10 inch black strap-ons in your apartment before your loved ones arrive to go through your belongings.

I'd call my friend and get him to do $1 coinflips. Lose 30 bucks and wear off the bad luck.
