Hi, Txag.

Until Last night, my computer at home was busted. And I cannot always post at work.

Regarding this forum... I sometimes get bored of it. Though I find the subject of religion interesting and the thought processes of theists fascinating, sometimes the debate itself can get tired. Its the whole "Faith" over "reason" thing. Once one party relies on Faith the rest becomes pointless.

I hope that is not just an excuse to avoid thinking about my reactions to your Carrier link. Is it?

find mirror, remove plank. "discussion is only productive if both parties are faithfully relying on reason."

Take a laxative, extricate head from dark place. "Faithfully relying on reason" is a nonsense phrase.

So, why do some people believe in Jesus but not Horus?

[/ QUOTE ]
That's the key question; not the similarities. What you must ask yourself is: what is so different about christianity that it would catch on like it did?

[/ QUOTE ]
Muhammed has a billion followers. What you must ask yourself is: what is so different about Muhammed that his teaching would supplant Jesus in the eyes of a billion people?

Praise Jesus for Islam. It cuts through so many of your [censored] arguments so effectively.
