PokerStars [/ QUOTE ] Two months ago I would have seconded and thirded this nomination, but their service has taken a major nosedive recently. Both I and a friend have had e-mails go unanswered (multiple for him, and his were about missing money). Scott |

[ QUOTE ] PokerStars [/ QUOTE ] Two months ago I would have seconded and thirded this nomination, but their service has taken a major nosedive recently. Both I and a friend have had e-mails go unanswered (multiple for him, and his were about missing money). Scott [/ QUOTE ] I hate to sound like a Stars groupie, but this sounds very weird. I probably write 2-3 e-mails to Stars a day between lots of different departments. Some of them are very critical, and some require very time consuming answers. I have never, not even once, not gotten a response, and the longest it's ever taken has been 48 hours. Are you sure the messages weren't getting lost somewhere? |

I am surprised to see only one person has said Newegg! No one has seconded that guy's opinion? I like newegg [/ QUOTE ] someone seconded this opinion earlier in the thread, but I'll go ahead and third it. Newegg is a wonderful online business. I bought all of my parts for my computer 2 years ago, and it was wonderful dealing with them. Very solid company and customer service. |

Are you sure the messages weren't getting lost somewhere? [/ QUOTE ] They were addressed properly, that's all I can say. And I do agree that this is very unusual for PS, so I can only assume that they've gotten overwhelmed since the UIGEA and let some e-mails fall through the cracks. Scott |

Whole Foods.
their stuff is a little pricey for me, but they hold themselves up to very high ethical and environmental standards, which is really impressive in today's business climate |

Wegman's. Fantastic supermarkets, U.S. northeast. Monstrous selection, incredibly friendly, competent staff. My wife loves it when we go back home to her parents', just so she can go grocery shopping at Wegman's.
USAA. Insurance. I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever switch insurance carriers. As others have said, I love the reaction when reps of other insurance companies ask me who I'm with; I tell them and they look like their dog died. Honda. On my 5th Honda vehicle. One of them saved my life. None of them has ever had a serious mechanical issue under 130K miles. Nordstrom. Only retail clothing store I can walk into where my blood pressure doesn't rise with the approach of a salesman. Top notch service. |
