Jessi702 (Observer): mikes sitting right here
watching sooooooooooo

gf sitting around house sweating your online poker action then getting in chat to defend your honor and trash Zigmund in the name of "common sense" = brutal on all levels. But hilarious for some reason. Really hilarious.

I was on my laptop doing something else, and had his window open so I could see what he was talking about in the game. Then forgot I had it open when he left that game, therefor saw what Ziigmund was saying afterwards. It's really a lot less pathetic than random strangers sweating him in a chat room when he couldnt care less about them, in my humble opinion.

a few quick reminders, jess:

- your boyfriend is a celebrity. therefore, things that he does, especially in public or online, will be highly scrutinized, analyzed, and otherwise dissected.

- your boyfriend is a gambler. he loses and wins very large sums of money to and from other gamblers. on occasion, one of his fellow players may loan some money to him or he may loan money to someone else. in the gambling world, the loaning of money is sacred. there are many rules, mostly unwritten, about the intricacies of such transactions. when one of the rules is broken, it can be cause for surprise, accusations, concern, or at the very least, curiosity.

- not only is your boyfriend a gambler, but he has a reputation (whether it's deserved or not i'm not judging on) for borrowing a lot of money from a lot of people and often appearing too broke for the games he chooses to play. however, he doesn't, to my knowledge, have a reputation for not paying people back. so, as you can see, when another player recently accused him of being way past due on payment, it's cause for gossip.

- you happen to be viewing a forum titled, "News, Views, and Gossip".

hope that helps clear up some of your confusion on why a bunch of "pathetic random strangers" would take any interest in your boyfriend's business.

if not, try and look at it a simpler way: railbirds are fans and players of poker that directly or indirectly contribute to your boyfriend's income. it isn't their fault if he's constantly trying to piss it away.

perspective is everything.

This seems like a very bad idea for Matusow, considering how often he's borrowing money. I'm thinking some of the people he borrows from would be weary of loaning money to someone who decides to hang on to 10K as restitution for being asked to repay too many times.
