with these type of players, in which you know will call your open-push once you hit, i think its better to just bet/call (as did OP did on flop) rather than getting it all in. if we miss, were done with the hand and save whatever money we would have pushed. if we hit, we know hes not laying down his hand, and still make the same amount of money as we would have if we 3-bet AI. I think this line is +EV against these type of loose calling stations.
