So is it pretty much agreed upon that the city of Commerce is not a very nice/safe place? Cus the Crowne Plaza is sold out so my friend and I are going to get a hotel somewhere else bu we're thinking maybe we should get one outside of Commerce and just drive in 20 min or something. WE want to be able to walk around and visit places outside of our hotel without feeling like we;re going to get mugged especially with a few grand in the pockets. I was thinking of Embassy Suites in Downey? Is that a nicer area? ********** Traffic in LA sucks - I live about 20 miles from commerce and it can take me upto an hr. to get there. Commerce, the city, is a dump for sure, but since, around the casino, it's primary an industrial area, your not going to get a lot of crime aka hollywood park. try Wyndham Commerce. It's close by near the outlet stores. There is nothing within walking distance from commerce - have you not heard the song? - "Nobody walks in LA" |
