How is the world a friendlier place if a nitty, bullying old douchebag is not called out for his nitty old douchebaggy behavior? Granted, he may continue his ways regardless, but he also may learn something if he is confronted and stop being such a nitty old douchebag, thus making the world a friendlier place.

Step 1: Trench his yard as you are leaving at 2-3 a.m. one morning.

Step 2: The next night, at 2-3 a.m., leave a note on his front door saying, "Thanks for your notes, but now it looks like moving my car allowed some jerk to trench your yard. Isn't it a shame the world is so full of [censored]?"

But be aware this is a completely illegal and dick move.

PB, I for one thing you're totally in the right and some kind of retaliation is called for. The dude doesn't own the street and should be punished for being a douche about your perfectly reasonable activities.

i would be AMAZED, DUMBFOUNDED, and IN AWE if his car is illegally parked and the neighbor could have it towed.

being as theyre in MN, the only exception is snowplowing prevents parking on the streets durung certain days but that's a different matter all together.

You need to see if the town has an ordinance against overnight parking. This is not uncommon in many suburban towns. If you can't park overnight then you're SOL.

I didn't say that he was illegally parked. But old crotchety bastards often have lots of old crotchety bastard friends. He could easily have OP's POS towed and abandoned somewhere that I would quickly vanish.

i think it is quite likely that street parking is illegal in this area. it's a snotty suburb.
