[ QUOTE ] meh, it sorts of a hodgepodge of players. Some gems, some busts. A lot of the gems I think have been fortunate to play on good teams and/or have good coaches. [/ QUOTE ] Wha? Johan Petro is a beast... [/ QUOTE ]He's no Rob Swift. |

Thank God they are going to move away so they can suck somewhere else. A once great franchise destroyed by Wally Walker.

I hate Isiah but this isn't that big of a deal to me. If he took someone else, it would have been someone who didn't have that high a chance of succeeding anyway. That guy would have failed and the haters would be dissing Isiah for that instead, there's no way out for him.

The point is that Balkman is one of the top ~8 rookies, and all these 2p2 nits slammed the pick, even though he's the man.

i think isaiah's outstanding draft record should have given him the benefit of the doubt with the pick. you can fault him for many MANY things but the man has his strength's and picking able bodies throughout the draft is one of them.
i was in the 'wait and see' camp with balkman. sort of perplexed by the pick at the time since i knew nothing of him( i wanted josh boone with the pick). with this season coming to a close i think it's turned out pretty decently. |
