can anyone vouch for the softness (or lack thereof) of games at fulltilt/stars in comparison to party? i've found the party 10/20 games to have gotten extremely tough to beat without some luck lately, whereas their 5/10 tables are consistently extremely soft.

Stars is way softer than party in my experience over the last couple of months.
Probably my playing style fits stars better but... I mean - I don't have PT in front of me now but I have like -2bb/100 at party for the last 20k and +2bb/100 at stars for the same amount of hands. (Yea I suck, but I know 10/20 LHE) I'm a 'classic' LAGTAG btw (who always misplaces the semibluffS)

cool thanks for the input. i've been watching stars and FTP for about a week now, im gonna continue datamining them for about another week and then deposit some money into one of them.
