Exactly.

I've met/hung out with durrrr a few times since this. I told him at least I got some satisfaction knowing that K had to scare the crap out of him momentarily. He said he remembered this hand, and he never remembers hands. I'm sure mostly for the WTF? moment when he saw my cards.

I wonder what would have happened if I had a K and sucked out on that hand or something. I'm sure I still give it all back. But I did hold my own for an hour 4-tabling 25/50. Maybe I finally pass out or something before I lose it all. I know after the durrrr hand, which I honestly have no recollection of, I remember a lot more. Losing that much $$ will get some adrenaline going. I very clearly remember the H@LL race for $7K, and being talked into saving my last $5k.

I'm doing well. Got a good job doing computer programming (what I was doing before poker) in Feb. I've still been averaging about $4k/month playing on the weekends.

After the events of this thread happened, I had to take $2.5k of my case $5k to pay bills. Then ran bad down to about $800. Then proceeded to have 7 days in a row over $1k to get back $10k. Then had a breakeven week, then made $7k the next week, and at the end lost on a flopped set in about a $10k equity hand to Shaniac in a $109r FT - that still hurts.

Then I traveled for a bit, didn't play much in Nov/Dec. Played a ton in Jan, made $3k, played a ton in Feb (UIGEA/Neteller), lost $10k, got a job. Much happier since. I don't think I'm built for pro poker. I was miserable, had no structure, and only bathed every other day.
