DIBS,

HE GOT 100K APPEARANCE FEE!!!!!!!!! What more do you need?

That explains why Vince is there, not why Ari decided to blow off a power struggle with Barbara Miller to frolic in Vegas. The thing is that I think it's something that's easily explained, they just didn't want to do the legwork on it. Same for the stuff with drama. You can get to the same place without being so over the top and silly, but whoever wrote this was just not going to take the effort to do anything subtle.

"too bad i blasted her in the face like a jackson pollack" or whatever he said was classic. Drama straight drilling that guy was priceless as well.

One of the funniest lines ever, I'm not a huge Seth Green fan but he was funny and his crew acting like dufuses was as well. Eric's "I stopped drinking Jagermesiter in high school" was funny also.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't know why, but I thought ari's dr evil impression making fun of Seth Green was pretty funny.

Dids, I think the fact that the show is only 23 minutes and 13 episodes is good justification for not wasting time on explaining the vegas trip. This isn't Lost, we don't have time for in depth character development on a show that has 1/4 the time.

I just watched it again, by far my favorite this season. Who cares if there was no plot development, everything on this episode was awesome. It was great to see Ari just letting loose and hanging out with the guys, which is something that doesn't happen too often. And Drama walking down the hall all pissed off was a great moment, because you knew Seth Green was going to get his ass kicked.

Evan,

It isn't really an issue of time. It doens't have to take any longer, it just has to be done smarter.

I disagree. How can it not take longer to explain something than not to explain it?

Dibs,

Apparently you have never blown off everything at the spur of the moment to go to Vegas. Those of us who have done that don't feel the need for any explanation beyond what was given in the show.

Great episode, the brawling at the end, and Ari playing BJ was awesome. Even Drama had his moments, when he strolled out in the robe.
