I have only 1 goal for August:

> Stop making 1 (sometimes 2) IDIOTIC mistakes a day in marginal situations that completely ruin my day and put a huge hole in my attempt to play a creative, expansive TAG game.

Easy. And yet, so flucking hard.

Back when I played LHE, one of my goals was to consistently be able to post non-trivial hands and have the board consensus be that I made good decisions.

Same goal here.

I will not be pushing that hard this month since Sept. 1st is do-or-die time in my real (non-poker) life. So here they are..

Goals:

1. Pass my Ph.D qualifier Part II on September 1.

Challanges:

1. Have one good (+2 buy-in) session at 200nl, which is killling me.
2. Take part in a hand-swap thing.

Expectations:

1. 1-2 hours a day 100nl 6max
2. 7 hours a day quality study.
3. Sleep more
4. rebuild the BR to 5000.

Stop going to the felt with 2 pair against a min-raiser with a set.

Goals:
Be fully rolled for 100NL within 1 more week of playing 50NL (at $1,750 currently) and stay there this time.
$1K profit at 100NL by end of month (~3.5bb/100 - very doable if I stop making idiot mistakes once a session).
Win the "Tournament of Champions" being held by one of my home games.
Get into the "TOC" held by my other home game (need a few more points to be secure - one more 2nd place in a weekly game should do it).

Challenges:
Move up to 6-tabling, try out 8-tabling
>6bb/100 at 50NL for the last $250 I need to move back up to 100NL
Stop stacking off with overpairs.
Try out 6-max for 3-5K hands.

Expectations:
5K hands per week
Finish setting up 3 monitor system and get used to playing on it.
Re-read NLHTAP. Read HOH 3.
