shorts: $35 sandals: $175 (but I've had them for 6 years now) total: $210 including watch and wedding ring: total: $1800. Mmmm, tequila sounds good. Think I'll make some margaritas tonight. And some tacos al carbon.

jeans: $40 socks+boxers/briefs: $3 shoes: $70 = $128. Pretty rough guesses there. More than I thought, but I haven't bought a new pair of jeans in about 2-3 years, my shoes are probably about 4 years old, and I've only bought 2-3 new shirts the last couple years. I'm tight with money.

I almost always wear a suit. So for me that is not a 'dressed up' situation. So I weigh in around $2K.
Edit: OK after reading the thread, I see you were expecting a more detailed breakdown. Here goes. Shoes: $150 Socks: $10 Suit: $1500 Shirt: $100 Tie: $75 Watch: $200 (I can't make myself spend money on a watch - this was expensive for me.) ----- Total: ~2K like I said.

12pack of athletic socks, 1pair: .50 shorts I got on sale at GAP last year: 10 no boxers unless it's a special occasion ASCICS shoes I bought online: 30 42.00 apparently.
