Most of the counterplay for black in Chigorin's revolves around a quick e5. I thought of this move a while ago when I was playing it for black and decided to give it a try.

10...Nc2 11. Ra2 Ng4+ 12. Kg1 Ncxe3 didnt look appealing, We looked at 10. Ra4 Nc2+ 11. Ke2 with no conclusions in the PM. He offered a draw after 9...Nxb4.
