What if you're asking with an impure motive? Will God answer you then? Try taking a shortcut. Ask as many people as you can if they ever received a spectacular blessing or a blessing that bordered on the miraculous. We have Brunson in SuperSystem telling us he got 3 of them in his own family. I know of several people that have received stupendous blessings. Maybe we're blessed but we're not recoginizing the blessings. Sort of what Harrington says about luck. I don't claim to know God's motivations for doing things the way he does, but figuring out reasonable explanations for why he doesn't communicate directly isn't hard at all even for a non-believer. [/ QUOTE ] Correct, it's not difficult at all, and the simplest, most likely (by far) explanation is that no such personal god exists.

Sorry but this is the same old tired argument everyone keeps using. When its your time its your time. God is promising a new life with him. I don't want to stay in this life forever. I'm biomechanical and my body parts will wear out, besides its not as peaceful down here.

Still nothing back by the way. It seems odd that all those gods are too busy to get in touch when they've got the chance of a 100% devoted believer for just 5 minutes of effort.
