Argh, I need to complain... I don't get it: how can I continuously lose? Maybe I don't have an edge anymore at FR, maybe nobody is winning because of the rake. Four full tables, all of them about 16% players to flop. Full ring is really dying... I made more money, and at a quicker pace, at the $1/2 6max than at $3/6 FR. I really wonder where I'm leaking so much.

where do you play? i need to avoid that site.

Some Sharp Cheddar:

I have been seeing more river C/R's than I ever have seen lately in live play. I also see some players folding after they bet and get C/R'd, ofetn with the best hand. The cats doing the C/Ring are not creative or crafty players at all but merely just trying to bluff other players off the pot. We are taliking 4/8 and 8/16 limit here. One hand the guy on my imm left bet his hand the entire way, obv with a 2 pair or a set of something. A 3rd flush card comes on the river, some oaf checks it to him, he bets, the oaf CRs him, he goes in the tank, turns his cards up to show that he has top 2, thinks for about 10 secs, mucks his hand, and the oaf shows him K3o and had nothing. Oaf was just trying to be funny but his play worked. He got lucky and just happened to target the right guy at the right time(he didnt know it though). I see a few others trying the riv CR with marg hands and getting lucky when their hands are goot as well.

OY!

Has anyone here ever lost more than 30 big bets on a single orbit of one table? Did I just do something a bit special?

[/ QUOTE ]

In SH yeah.

I've done 50 in less thatn 3 orbits. But I'm a fish there so does that even count?

8-16 report from Oceanside, CA

I win a couple of pots when I flop top pair or something and people call my value bets.

Then I raise AA UTG and I am called in 5 spots

864, I bet everyone calls,
Turn 4, I bet everyone calls,
River 8 I check and overcall to see 85, cool

Couple hands later I raise like 5 people OTB with AK, everyone calls and then someone decides to limp reraise for fun. It was an obvious lol omgz lets playing a huge pot play, I cap.

A83 flop, 8 turn, K river and I ended up losing to T8 after I called the c/r on the turn and just called the river.

Forced to call a couple bets with a big pair on a AAT3 board for the jackpot. The A didnt some but I was correct that it was still live.

We had the biggest juiceball ever in the game. Here is an example. I raise almost everyone OTB with ATs

AQT, this guy leads, couple people call, I rai!

9 on the turn, this guy leads again, women raises, I call, call,

River was a total blank, no flush, Now he checks, woman bets with J8, I call, and he makes the overcall with T8. Unfortunately he left with like 320 left that he did not decide to blast off to the table.

Some other tihngs happened. Words of advice for the day...

YOU CAN NOT CHECK RAISE RIVERS PLAYING LIVE 8-16. I found two awesome spots to do it today and both times they checked behind with hands I thought they would bet.

Also stacking your chips in retarded random towers does actually take your mind off how much you are winning or losing. I ended up a rack when I thought I was doing only a little better than even.

First winning session in Oceanside in FOREVEr. I have been murdering people in LA however. Oh yeah playing with $2 chips instead of $3 from teh 9-18 game in LA makes it seem much smaller for whatever reason. I was down a rack at one point today and then I remembered it was only 200 instead of 300. I almost didnt even care that I was actually losing!!

Picked up another 4 racks this week. $800 was from the 20, 1150 from the 10 and I made $100 outsmarting opponents in 1-2NL.

Sustainable?

Ouch. I pick up 99, and the flop comes a beautiful 9JJ, heads-up with some action.

The turn is another sweet 9, and we cap it.

The river is the 3rd J... board 9JJ9J. Hero bets, Villain raises... Hero thinks f*** it, if I'm going down, I'm going down in style, and re-pops it. Villain caps. Hero calls and the rest is history.

Actually, in my more inspired moods, I sometimes jump on these tables for about 3 laps, and play maniac. Try it sometime, you can usually steal enough so that you make a profit, and it watching the table dynamic change while everyone gets out of their comfort zone is a lot of fun.
