an di"m not sayin git's a good thing, just that it seems like I'm def representing a flush

[/ QUOTE ]

I thought a lot about this hand in lunch.

If he thinks you are a good player, he won't think you def. have a flush when you def. represent a flush.

I think he would call with a fullhouse, and that he would push with a higher flush. The reasoning being, with the nut flush, a 4th spade would kill his action vs. a lower flush and just any other hand you could call with etc. And if his flush isn't the highest, he'd also be scared of getting outdrawn.

With a fullhouse, however, he'd call and let you bluff/value bet the river.

So I am more inclined to think his range is made flushes/pair with a big spade.

Can anybody explain what is a stop n go btw?

Isn't my line the most straight forward way to play a flush? I mean wtf!?

[/ QUOTE ]

Actual? Is this standard?

Anyways, apparantly villian is decent. I dont think you can call profitablly here, because everyime he is bluffing he will have some equity for sure (A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Qx or w/e) but he is gonna have you drawing dead everytime he has you beat. (Does that make sense)

i like a flop c/r. turn is a call now. these kinda hands you'll evetually have to 'feel' rather than really be able to get feedback from twoplustwo.

Most of my opinions about this hand has already been said. I don't like check/calling the flop. If he's decent he'll c-bet this flop quite often so I like a c/r. I don't like b/3b because we don't have much fe if any if raised and we'll have at best 36ish equity.

I'm calling the push. As said this is not a good bet size if you're planning to fold to a push because villain will probably go "wtf" and push AQ+ often.

Your flat call represented a flush draw that hit on the turn, or at least most players are going to read it as the most likely scenario. Thus unless he believes he can bluff you off a flush, he is probably very strong very often here. The board is paired and you represented a flush. I can't see him betting AQ or the naked As in this fashion often enough to make this a call. I mean, he would have to be betting his whole stack believing that the combo of a Spade making him the nut + Fold equity makes a semi-bluff profitable. I don't think that the line all that often. This is very often the made nut or FH.

With a Laggier read, its an insta-call.
