Since you as a player know that nothing behind the line is a bet, why would you act on someone who pushes their chips close to the edge but not over? Just wait until they commit.

[/ QUOTE ]

That's the whole point. Angle shooters aren't seeking their edge from other angle shooters who know all their tricks.

Generally in Vegas nowadays, if there is no betting line, the edge of your cards closest to the dealer is your betting line.

So I can push my cards way out into the table. Then move stacks of chips from my pile close to me out to my cards, but not past the outer edge, and that's not a bet yet?

Obviously you are trolling now. IF you'd learn to read, I said ealier, that pushing your cards "way out" will get them mucked. Stop the bs, and play cards. You already know the rules.

Better yet, go try all these things you think you can do and please post a trip report.

If you'd like to start a thread about all the ways you can come up with the angle shoot other players and push the envelope, by all means, start one. I'll be happy to tell you what's what. I'm sure others will too.

I agree. I don't see any reason for this thread to remain unlocked. There have been a lot of discussions about betting lines. - RR

Dude, you just don't get it. There is no such thing as "way out" because no one knows what that means. There are rules for a reason. When you call, you don't call "about" the size of the big blind or last bet. Anyone who doesn't agree with a standardized set of rules is probably looking for angles. Or maybe trolling.
