ESPN is really missing an opportunity here:

[ QUOTE ]
Hand #24 - Freddy Deeb Doubles Through Shawn Sheikhan
Hand #24 - Lamar Wilkinson has the button in seat 6, Deeb moves all in from the cutoff for 77,000, and Sheikhan calls from the big blind. Sheikhan stands pat, and Deeb draws two cards. Sheikhan has a J-9 low, and Deeb slowly turns over his new cards -- a 9, followed by a 10. He lets out a quick cheer and shows the rest of his cards for a 10-9-6-5-4. Sheikhan tosses his cards in frustration as Deeb wins the pot to double up to over 150,000.

[ QUOTE ]
Hand #36 - Andrew Black Triples Up
Hand #36 - Lamar Wilkinson has the button in seat 6, Black moves all in for 174,000, Sheikhan calls from the small blind, Seidel moves all in from the big blind for 424,000, and Sheikhan thinks for several minutes before he folds.

Seidel stands pat, and Black goes into the tank for several minutes deciding whether or not to draw. He finally decides to draw one card. He flashes a 10 as he asks for a new card. He then flips over his hand all at once, revealing a 9-5-4-3-2 -- he says he caught the four.

Seidel shows a 9-7-6-5-4, and Black wins the pot to *triple* up in chips to over 525,000.

this FT seems more exciting and tense than any other FT at the wsop. The tension must be enormous on deciding whether to draw or stand pat and even more so when you await the faith of a drawn card.

I've never understood why this game doesn't get more love. It's played no-limit, and it combines a great mix of math and bluff.

Apparently, this almost became the game for the main event, but they decided on NLHE instead. Makes me wonder what poker would be like today if they hand gone for KC instead.

Easy game getting dealt smooth eights twice in ten hands when you desperately need a hand.
