My roommate got hoops. I've only played one game and a couple mutli player mini-games. I enjoyed the game against the computer, but I think most of the value of this game is in the multiplayer 3 on 3. This requires both players to have the cartridge, the mini games do not. The coin hunter mini game was a lot of fun, I could see it getting old though.

The DS is worth getting just for Advance Wars DS and Brain Age. Battles of Prince of Persia is fun too. And even more turn-based strategy coming out soon (I guess I'm a bit biased toward that genre).
