I've written this before but if that's the standard for magic [/ QUOTE ] So, who ARE the standards for "magic" as you've defined it? Personally, I've always considered all of them illusionists, but I was a D&D freak and had high standards for "magic"

I hate Cris Angel, too. That entire brand/genre of magic is unappealing to me. It's not fun when it's blatantly [censored]. Like walking in a room and he's just sitting upside down on the cieling, eating nails or something gay.

Id imagine this guy is the same, tho id guess he packages it differently to appear new and edgy. And for the record, 90% of the tricks you see someone like Blaine do you can buy off the internet - be it a fully working 'prop' like the coke can that uncrushes itself, or the quarter that you bite a piece out of, or a book explain techniques like reaching through glass or levitating using a trick of angled perception and lifting yourself slightly using your furthest away foot. It may shock some of you, but there is no magic secret in magic anymore. See The Prestige (awesome film) which describes perfectly how the simplest answer is often the most correct.
