fin : I strongly suggest you cash out all but 10k, and play around with the last 10k.

Good luck though dude!

I agree with that, 10k is still an insane amount of money to play cards with and there's no way anyone can talk you in to cashing all of it out. PLEASE cash out at least 50% of it.

my suggestion is u cashout all but 10k...you will likely go broke otherwise due to your lack of understanding for variance in the game.

I did cash out $8000.. supposedly the limit on there to have a check sent.

I took a beating yesterday.. Kris got me back good, I'll hand it to him. I'm sitting at about 14 now, playing on a 25/50 nl.

Finbob,

14K is not a big enough roll to sit at a 5/10 nl game let alone 25/50. If the money matters to you, play 2/4 (or lower). If you are just having a blast and don't care if you drop the 14K, by all means do what you are doing. You may not believe what people are saying about bankroll and variance and such, but a lot of people here have seen (and/or expreienced) extreme heaters followed by big crashes. That does not mean you will crash, but even if you were the greatest ever, losing three buy ins in a no limit game (especially a high stakes one where play is so aggressive) would be routine. You've had a lot of good fortune (regardless of how good you are). You are on these forums, so presumably you have studied the game some. You have enough of a bankroll to play 2/4nl safely if you are a winning player there and can drop down if you start to lose a lot. If you can't stomach dropping down in stakes, be very careful, you will likely go busto, but that is not so bad if you don't try to redeposit what you have taken out (and then some).

fin,

dont listen to these chumps. the "big name" pros on FT suck - but you might want to try UB or even Prima, they have even BIGGER games. 200/400 HU NL is calling to you

you are going to lose the 14k with certainty. If this means anything to you then cash out now.
