I am going to try to re-re-re-highjack this thread.

I met Ignignokt this evening at MGM. We sat in the one 4/8 they had going. NL truly is eating the world; MGM had a bunch of 1/2 NL games, $60 SNGs, and an MTT all running while we were there.

I sit down, post in the CO, get AA, and lose on a 4flush board to Q4o containing no trump (instead, he flopped bottom pair and rivered trips). I look up at Ignig and grin; this is either going to be a fantastic night or i'm going to end up with my wrists slit.

Ignignokt, it turns out, is a giant luckbox. He takes QQ up against KK, flops a set, and busts a guy. He then takes AA up against KK, flops set-over-set, and busts another guy. Later, he flops quads and very nearly busts a third guy.

We opt for a change of scenery and head over to Wynn. We start out at the same table, but quickly table change away from its tight icky badness, so i don't get to see how Ignig wins another rack, but i'm sure it involves several more 7.5:1 shots.

I get a seat to the left of an old dude who limps way too much and who shows his cards to our entire side of the table. In spite of warnings from the dealer and at least one other player, he does not protect his hand. This makes it very easy to value bet against him. My hands hold up and i win back the rack i dropped at MGM.

Ignig is now hungry, so we head to In-N-Out (which i've been having a strange, inexplicable craving for since Vote4Pedro changed his avatar). We talk about poker and jobs and this thread. I apologize for having hijacked it with all the Tevas With Socks nonsense. Ignignokt calls Shadow's subsequent (and apparently ongoing) antics a "thread resteal". I lol.

We both decide that we've had enough for one night and agree to reconvene tomorrow. I drive home and miss every light on Flamingo. I should really stop drinking caffeine and go to bed.

Good trip report, but I wish you hadn't posted it. Every day I go over to the B&M forum and just drool, and this doesn't help, either. I need to get to Vegas, but getting there is such a problem.

Good to hear Iggie is running better than when he and I last played. He may even be running hotter than I was [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img].
