Re: High Stakes Poker thread (11/26 - 500k buyin pt 4 - Spoilers all o
Is DB being staked by PA? Looked like PA was super interested in the DB/Gold all in, standing up and all. Maybe its nothing. No idea how he reacts with the hand next week where DB is all in for like 600k was it?

What is Esfandiari doing there? In a previous show he folded JTs when there was a raise to 20k. In this episode he limpfolds T9s when there is a raise to 7k and two calls when the action returns to him. Awful tight play, is he trying to play tighter than Bob Stupak? [/ QUOTE ] NO .. he's modelling his play after galfond. |

Has any one noticed the faces of the waitresses in the background when they were playing for big pots? |

Yeah. That was such a cool moment. I guess 10 grand isn't much to him at these stakes, but the speed with which he called the pot sized bet was insulting. It was a final kick in the pants to Gold on the way out. It was downright embarassing.

Re: High Stakes Poker thread (11/26 - 500k buyin pt 4 - Spoilers all o
getting to the doyle hand again. I actually think it is really important that doyle had the nut redraw there because guy's line is so ridiculously strong that if had watched this hand without knowing the whole cards i would be like: guy has a set of jacks.
But obviously guy makes some really funky moves at the same time so it's ok to get it in here but really important to have a nut redraw just in case guy actually has a set (which is basically what he is saying). |

I luv how the entire table begs Jamie to stay a few more hands.
