I think everyone missed this: its SUITED!

however, I think this situation against a total unknown is fairly close.

but calling with AQ is just nuts Fionna with any regularity is just nuts. whats u'r sn. and yes I play these games.

[/ QUOTE ]

it's probably not standard for most players, but if you squeeze alot then soon enough the villain starts shoving any 2, so with the right dynamics it's def not out of the question.

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree, however b4 that dynamic gets established, u should wait to make thin value calls imo.

Do you ever call an all in for anything other than value?

I've got to join the camp of failing to believe that in 25k hands OP has seen ONE four-bet AI preflop.

no joke man. I'm sure I've missed a few but I play 3-4 tables and follow action pretty well.

Either way, I'm hoping you guys have more experience in these situations; this is why I made the thread.

Should I ignore this site because I happen to play live?

i play lower stakes and 4bet shove preflop over a 3bet like once every few hundred hands at least.

[/ QUOTE ]

I do too, I mentioned it. I get looked up by AK a lot and JJ/QQ from time to time. This means this guy probably does too.

Again, this guy probably expects to be called by AK and QQ and maybe JJ.

[/ QUOTE ]

your point being?

[/ QUOTE ]

My point being, lets think a couple levels deeper than OMG don't fold AK ever

Don't mean to sound disbelieving of your commentary. Just seems like a reasonably common situation for many players with AA/KK/AK, or shortstackers, etc. I for example have seen many four/five bet AI's. Perhaps you missed some which weren't particularly relevant.

Thanks, about my posts. I don't plan on going anywhere, this is a great site. It's just difficult when I want to advise, or post my own hands, because of the online oriented nature of these forums. You post an interesting live hand, you get 11 views. Online hand featuring such gems as SHOULD I FOLD KK PREFLOP FOR 89 BB'S ZOMG I THINK IMMMMMM BEEEEET, expect 970 views.

I'll humour you. What is your 3-betting range in this spot?
