Re: Brag: Garth Brooks concert tonight
people saying that hanging out with Garth Brooks before one of his shows is a beat are really stupid, you have no idea who he is and what his accomplishments are, or both.

Re: Brag: Garth Brooks concert tonight
Garth is outstanding...both his music and live shows. Pharoah, thanks for being open minded.
To OP, glad you had a good time. And the girls in the pic are hawt. Ignorant people aside, this post is definitely brag. As an aside, Garth could get away with charging a TON for his live shows. He plays very infrequently despite being one of the most, if not the most, popular musician in the US. Yet he purposely charges only $25-30 or so for his tickets, so that any fan can afford to go. A few years ago he played the Forum in Los Angeles. Tickets were $20. That is about 1/3 of the average ticket price in LA. The show sold out in about 4 minutes. |

[ QUOTE ]
i dont like country music but i guess i can support anyone who puts on a good live show. i dont care how good a person sounds on a record, if they aren't good live, they're not worth listening to. most people hate country music for obvious reasons but if you like it and saw a good performer perform the music that you like....brag for you, i reckon. Serious brag, I'm jealous. Think he'll ever play again? [/ QUOTE ] He said at the show that these 9 were it for now, but once his daughters are raised he will be going back on tour. I believe the youngest was 11, so that would make for a pretty old Garth. |

Serious brag, I'm jealous. Think he'll ever play again? [/ QUOTE ] hard to say, as KUjustin said. he's so into raising his daughters that he flies back to Stillwater after every show so he can get his daughters off to school the next day and then flies back to KC to do the show. if you want to watch one of these shows, i know the last one is being televised live at various locations, such as movie theatres for i believe $20. |

Re: Brag: Garth Brooks concert tonight
Too lazy/tired to create a proper MSPAINT:
I am happy that I have never met anyone in this picture. And I don't generally hate on the musical tastes of others. However, when there are Garth Brooks threads that are filled with anything other than dismissive scorn, I weep for BBV4Life. Country music in the last 15 or so years, also known as the Garth Brooks era, has been the worst abomination in the history of popular music. At work, I am subjected to this crap called "Country" every day. If I hear that "More Than a Memory" one more time, I will kill every Garth fan that I know. Starting with my sister. This fat, bald, no talent assclown needs to disappear. Also, [censored] Kansas. Edited to censor the word "[censored]" from the image. |
