If you have enough knowledge on a subject, you can argue either side of it and be right.

Obviously you're joking, but he's mostly right as long as you're smarter than the person you're arguing against. Don't make stupid examples like this one.

I don't want to get in a whole "arguing in a thread about how to become a better arguer". I'm sure it would be cute but I don't feel like it. Of course 2+2=4. I was just poking fun at what I thought was a poor example that you gave to try to disprove my initial point. I guess I should have also added in, "never deal in absolutes".

Go figure, another useless OOT thread with [censored] advice...

the first rule of negotiations is NEVER NEGOTIATE AGAINST YOURSELF

be it whatever you're negotiating for, if the other party does not agree, obtain a counter offer before lowering your own needs

its simple rule #1 but obviosuly these rtards here aren't going to know that b/c they spitting you bullspit

I was at one-time an aspiring attorney now turned professional negotiator, we read lots of books on negotiating and arguing...

read this book called

How to Argue & Win Every Time

by Gerry Spence

the advice in this thread is so useless I can't even comprehend most of it
