I call shenanigans. How often are FOUR people allin preflop on the first day of a 10k buyin tournament before AA even gets a chance to play?

This hand never happened. Thanks for playing.

Edit: Obviously, I'm late to the party on this one, but seriously, let's go over this;

Day 1, 10k buying event. Just before dinner break. Blinds are 200-400. 10 players at the table. Average stack is ~18k.

Player 1: fold
Player 2: Raise to 1500
Player 3: Reraise allin to 9k
Player 4: fold
Player 5: fold
Player 6: Reraise allin to 30k
Player 7: Cold call allin 23k
Player 8: Cold call allin 21k
Player 9: Hmm, I have aces and 14k. Maybe I should fold here, as the BB has yet to act, and the initial raiser may call too.........

Implausibility on top of inanity on top of insanity, topped off finally with a flat-out lie..

You're totally ignoring that all you have to do is win the side pot against the last 3 all ins to end up ahead.

i agree with shenanigans....
does sound unbelievable for 4 all in's PF in a 10K buyin event.

or maybe I just have no clue how loose some people play in 10K buyins.

also does sound unbelievable to fold AA here too. I could understand the logic though, seeing as there are probably a few PP's out there, and some live cards. One could be scared into thinking someone with a bigger stack will hit a straight or a set and fold AA.... however this person is not me, I could never fold in this spot.

That's not logic.

I realize this is just nitpicking but again the use of the word "could" really bothers me. You WOULD never fold it because you're not a terrible terrible poker player.
