prob not that extreme, but I don't think Leinart is the 3rd best player in the draft and he was locked in at #2 till NO picked up Brees. I'm not sold that Leinart has NFL accuracy and arm strength, VY could very easily be playing WR in 2yrs, and Cutler's status skyrocketed very late in the year, so its quite possible that he is right

[/ QUOTE ]

Strength might (might) be a problem, but I don't know where you get the idea that he isn't accurate enough... 64.8% career completions, plus... 4TH AND 9, BABY, 4TH AND 9

The Cardinals won't take a QB at 10 unless Vince Young is there.
They'd be better off trading down to 15-20 then sending that pick to ATL for MSchaub then taking Cutler

13. Baltimore Haloti Ngata, DT Oregon
14. Philadelphia Winston Justice, T USC

[/ QUOTE ]

i sort of disagree with all of these mid first round picks

[/ QUOTE ]

Why not?

Is Ngata a bad fit in Baltimore?

Runyon and Tra Thomas aren't getting any younger. Although Philly could probably use a WR.

[/ QUOTE ]

ngata would be a good fit in Baltimore, but I think they have more important needs to fill.

[/ QUOTE ]

Freeing up a certain aging MLB seems like a huge need to me.

If Jay Cutler is available at 10, the Cards will take him. If Young is there, the Cards will take him.

Am I the only person who thinks predicting the draft is incredibly stupid?

There are certain teams (Eagles) that leave the media completely in the dark on purpose. So Mel Kiper is getting paid to just guess. We'll find out in two weeks, unless you're betting on it, why care? And for the record, I'm a HUGE NFL fan, but this just doesn't interest me.

Michael Vick was pretty accurate in college.
