The biggest thing, for you nay-sayers, is that when you know somebody is actually really smart, and you understand that what's driving them is not any specific dislike but the inabililty not to pull the trigger on a good joke, they get a pass.

C'mon, you want people to actually pass up an opportunity to get offended by something?

How then do you expect them to work racism comparisons into conversations?

What's the point of astroglide deleting istewart's post if other people can quote it and bold it?

[/ QUOTE ]

LOL, this was istewart? I saw that in your profile a long time back but I didn't realize it was him. AWESOME.

Also:

im sure you could post a picture of a swastika and say how cool you think it looks too. then play dumb that you admire it for it's design and dont want people discussing the holocaust.

[/ QUOTE ]

Interesting choice there. Given the long, long history of the swastika before Nazi Germany, you could actually have a long discussion on its design, etymology and history without ever touching on the Holocaust.

This has nothing to do with istewart. And don't think I'm a swastika nut -- I'm not. Just saying, could have chosen a better example here.

Actually, the reason that he used that example in particular is because istewart actually made a "I think swastika's are cool" thread awhile ago. He did it to get a rise out of people, and he succeeded. He was being a troll.

And just for the record, I think he "deserved" his third star (as the rules must be applied equally), but I could care less that he was banned. If anything, I think he sees his banning as a badge of pride.

The key to limit hold'em is to put a man to a decision for some of his chips.

That was a really good one.
