I will offer 20-1 on action up to $1000 that Stars do not release a casino before the end of this year (I'd make it a longer period like 3 years but I am impatient to take the monies of anyone dumb enough to bet on this).

[/ QUOTE ]Why is that? Do some of you fear that you will go on tilt and go play blackjack?(serious question) I admire that you would go through the trouble to switch sites if you feel this is a legitimate threat. Personaly I enjoy poker very much, but I do not enjoy playing any other form of casino gambling, nor get the urge to play when running bad. I am not at all trying to say I am better than you, I just find the difference interesting.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting PokerStars.

We certainly appreciate your feedback on this issue, and I can advise you
that PokerStars does not have any plans on offering Casino type games of
this nature.

Regards,

Randy

Mitt,

I really don't "tilt" I have been playing long enough that I can keep my temper under control. I am really not a casino type gambler, though I will play a few hands of cheap blackjack $5,$10 or $15 hands here and there if I am at a live casino tourney just for fun. Whereas I keep alot more money online than I bring with me to the casino. I really wouldn't open blackjack for any reason other than boredom, but sometimes I would have 8 minutes until the next tourney starts or there is a 5 minute break and I don't feel like opening a cash table so I would open blackjack. The bad thing is instead of $10 on one hand like at the casino I would bet $25 or $50 on 3 hands. It is pretty easy to drop $500 to their rigged bullsh!t 10 deck blackjack. That is what got me frusterated and I was disciplined enough to cash out and deposit on stars. Now AP can go [censored] itself.

Why don't you just not play?

You have the discipline to fold 80% of starting hands preflop in poker. How hard is it not to play blackjack?

If they do this it means they've given up on being a legitimate part of the US gambling market anytime in the near future which frankly seems reasonable.
