i hate these dickswinging threads. they dont really prove anything and ppl post these ridiculous 50k hand or less sample sizes as if they are supposed to give an accurate assessment of what their winrate is.

OP, fwiw any sample size under 200k hands is pretty much meaningless. even then its not particularly accurate imo. also, many people will move up beyond these limits or quit before they play enough hands to get a proper assessment of what ptbb/100 winner they are at that limit. furthermore, people can improve drastically or even get worse over that time too which will skew the results, and game conditions can change (obvious eg. US anti-gambling legislation) etc etc.

if you started this thread in an attempt to figure out what is possible you are wasting your time. just try and play well and constantly improve your game. focusing on your ptbb and thinking "omg i have to win at 5ptbb+ to be good" will do more to hurt your game than help it. however, from my time playing online and all of the posts regarding winrates and whatever else ive read on 2+2, i would tentatively say that in the long term anything over 3ptbb at 100nl and 200nl is decent, and above 5ptbb is very good.

and obv if anyone wants to disagree with me about a 50k sample size being meaningless im more than happy to posts graphs to back my claim up.

It took me some time to learn the game, but I think I finally got it. My winrate is 1.8ptBB/100 for the first 400k hands and 5.1 ptBB/100 for the last 200k hands

You kind sir are a sick [censored]!

Just out of curiosity; why didn't you move down to NL50 to sharpen your skills?

[/ QUOTE ]

I moved up to 2/4 or 5/10 to sharpen my skills. That's the big dip in the graph.

Graph is all levels from 0.05/0.10 to 5/10, but the majority of hands are at 0.5/1.

Yes, that's the only reason I kept playing I think. I still made 12$ an hour on the first 410k hands.

fwiw, 4.25 or so after 50k (my first NL hands) hands at NL100...i still feel i am learning a ton and really have no idea what to do in quite a few spots. value betting, checking for pot control and floating are things i need to work on over the next 50k hands. after that ill give NL200 some peeks.
