well so far after a week or so of this new rake method, and I have already noticed a sharp drop in my rakeback. Not a good sign.

same here...i actually didn't play on UB last month, so this does figure take into account the 20% hit for fees that UB is deducting from everyone?? or does that come at the end of the month which I think makes more sense because UB is prolly not sure just how much its costs will be each month...

WTF? Their rake already sucked. Ugh, are they trying to go out of business?

for limit, their prior rake was the same as stars which was best in the industry. ub was by far the best place for a sh lhe player. lowest rake on the net. 30% rb. weekly points for cash that amounted to 3c/hand.

in feb i played 35406 hands and made 4760 in rb and bonus.

now, their rake is same as absolute which is worst. ftp is a bit better bc they are lower for 2-3handed.

im fairly pissed about this.

It looks like they changed it so that the fees have already been deducted in your MGR.

just a suggestion: could you write your saw_flop% and rakeback% you lost due to the new average cont.?

I wonder if I should avoid contributed sites (as I do now).

I don't know that a "blanket policy" like this is always wise. If you're choosing which site to play at solely on your amount of rakeback, I would think you'd also want to take the bonuses into account, which are quite good at UB. The change in RB, while not good, doesn't have that much effect on my revenue there. Bonus + Points for Cash >>> RB.

Edit to add: The effect this will have on your RB totals also will depend on what you play. For example, I play SH limit...the effect will be less on me than on FR limit players.

I got about 2/3 of what I got for the same amount of hands played under the dealt-system. But as ppl before me have said - with pts to cash + reload bonuses it more than well makes up for that last 1/3 to still make UB one of the better rb sites out there...
