I agree. He was the front hype man for PE, and basically was one of the original rappers that made it to the main-stream. Sure, some of you dont like rap, but there is no doubt that he was one of the originals that has a bunch to do with what rap(music?) is today.

Yeah 50cent totally doesnt deserve its fame, even tho he worked up his way to being super rich and super famous. Yeah everyone can do that.. Jesus, i dont like his music, but i still respect this guy alot.

Ashlee Simpson is a great answer. She's basically famous because her sister is famous. The younger Carter kid comes to mind also. People were only interested in putting them on the radio or TV because they had siblings so famous that the younger kids would have a built in crowd of bubble gum tweens.

Ashlee is an absolutely horrific singer and never had any business being the music industry.
