You have to do something while you play poker.
I normally only play 2-3 tables now and on my other comp I browse 2+2 etc I wouldn't say I'm addicted I just have nothing better to do. I'm not a robot so I can only play about 1000 hands a day. I'd rather do it 2-3 tabling 6max for 4-5 hours or so over playing 4+ tables and having to focus. Some people can play 2k hands a day, I cant I'm not 19/20 and I dont give a [censored] about making way more money. I already make crap loads so its just about enjoyment. If I can make big money doing something that doesnt piss me off too much then that is more than I could ask for.

1. Depending on what games you are playing, ADD (or something similar) may be a good thing! If I am not playing 8 tables, I am bored.
2. The argument about playing twice as long and make twice as much money does not work for me. Once I get sick of playing, my game goes downhill it seems. 2+2 is a much needed break.

Don't you see your post here as kinda like an alcoholic going into a bar to discuss his problem with other alcs while downing a few more? How can we help you if we can't help ourselves? Look into that software tool mentioned above. Or maybe Dr. Al can point you to a 12 step program for 2+2 abusers [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]. On a serious note though, are you sure that you are not using this as a means to avoid playing because of other issues like running bad and not wanting to play? Bluff

It never goes away I don't think. I already know that once I get bored/Busto/ or Internet poker gets banned that I will certainly set out to find a new MMORPG, a girlfriend of money or time restrinst will not stop it. Sigh..

if I'm playing and I run across a hand that I want to discuss, I sit out from my two tables and give 2+2 my full attention. once I'm posted up I'll sit back in and keep on going. Its also a good way to take a short break and grab some food [read: beer] or go breathe some fresh air outside [read:take a dump].
