Im thinking we could bribe Herbie given that he will never win because he is being eliminated on spot number 5 or something after his shady performance yesterday, I propose we guarantee him a spot in the final 4 if he switches TODAY.

[/ QUOTE ]

again val thinks he knows everyone's agenda

eskimo and val are having a discussion. Zurv says he still wants to elect herbie tomorrow. We are all discussing different options.

And from this you conclude that herbie is being eliminated in spot 5

great analysis

why are you pushing this? if you trust in the alliance this should be a non-issue. if you are telling the truth this should be a non-issue.

tomorrow there are 11 players left. (assume nich goes tonite for simplicity)

herbie gets elected mayor. herbie eliminates zurvan.

NWO:

Herbie
Val
Kokiri
Dustin
AJ
-----

and there you have 4 players grateful enough to take herbie in to the final 2.

[/ QUOTE ]

And with 10 players left, assuming the remaining 5 players in our alliance stick together, there is a tie at the end of the day. Upon revoting, there is still a tie.

That leaves the choice of who goes to the last player eliminated. In your scenario, that's me, and about 200% of the time, I eliminate Herbie for backstabbing the alliance. My allies still have power, Herbie has lost his good position in the game, for no gain.

[/ QUOTE ]

YOU ARE VOTING AGAINST HERBIE EVEN IF HE PLAYS A PERFECT GAME AFTERWARDS???!?!?!?! ZOMG THATS AGAIANST THE SPIRIT OF THE GAME!!!!!! YOU ARE AN HORRIBLE PERSON!!!!!!!

[/ QUOTE ]

READING COMPREHENSION FTW. INSTEAD OF LOOKING FOR AN EXCUSE TO PICK ON WHAT I SAY, READ WHAT I SAID.

If somebody backstabs my alliance, and votes me out, AND I HOLD THE TIEBREAKER THE NEXT DAY I'm going to elect someone from my alliance to be Mayor, and hopefully eliminate the backstabber.

Was that clear enough, or should I draw it in MS Paint for you?

Eskimo,
The reasons that I want to be elected mayor are as follows

1. Getting to choose someone to be eliminated before the final 10 could have an impact during the endgame

2. At least one person posted something saying that they weren't going to support someone to win overall if they shied away from being mayor.

3. Until they backed up their words with actions there was no real reason to trust Zurvan or Mets but they got the opportunity to prove their loyalty. I feel I have already proved mine but apparently some people feel that being mayor and eliminating someone non-alliance proves that loyalty to a greater extent - I would like that same opportunity.

4. I'm an attention whore

lets guarantee a final 4 spot for Herbie and a final 4 spot for someone else

I'm more than willing to die as long as we can take out Zurvan, Mets, and Dmk
