I'm actually an hour and half up the road, which saves me the pain of being an Eagles fan as well. Though most of my friends are Eagles fans, so I've seen their torture, but I mainly just laugh.

How did you end up a Bears fan?

[/ QUOTE ]

All of my formative years of sports were the early 80s. The Bears were just starting to get good and were playing exciting games. The Eagles stunk and their games were terrible. I hated having to sit through those games. Then my slightly older cousin became a Bears fan so I did too.

rotfl, Barrajas on the DL, anyone believe he's actually hurt? This does leave us down a bench player though, they called up Condrey again. :-\

Nice work with Barajas Gillick you clown. If Coste had played all of last year he probably wouldve made enough difference to get them in the Playoffs, and yet he doesnt play again.

What is the deal with all the pinch running and pitchers batting Manuel you moron?!?!? Adam Eaton pinch hitting and JC Romero batting because Manuel pinch ran for Burrell with Roberson two batters earlier. Manuel is so dumb.

I dont have a problem with Eaton batting because it was in the 2nd inning and you dont want to waste a good bat in that spot so early in the game.

That was a horrible game. They got incredibly lucky. This is just another in the series of teases that the Phils love to inflict on their fans.

Eaton is just wretched, and Mesa is quite possibly worse.

Linebrink strikes out the side, Mesa throws batting practice. If the Brewers had hit him any harder the ball would have exploded into a pile of yarn. Thanks Gillick.

Iguchi is pretty good though. What do they do when utley comes back, play iguchi at 3rd or just as a bench player? This is Helms' time of year so it mite be good to play him.

lol at jose mesa
