dunno if this is related to the minor leaguers getting suspended, but didn't espn have a story saying a mets employee (maybe in the farm system) was being investigated in connection with PEDs...

The guy was a Mets employee until, I think, about 1996. And the claim is that he was involved with steroids AFTER his employment with the Mets ended.

It is pouring/thunderstorms in North Jersey. It's really bad here. It started up about 10 minutes ago. It's headed straight for the city. I'm not as optimistic as Jordan but hopefully this goes by quick and there is a game.

Oh, totally blind optimism on my part. I hate days without games, especially if we would have to sit on last night for another 24 hours.

I bet there will be a game. I live in southern Westchester and received a message from the school district that we have warnings of tornados and heavy storms until 6 pm. At the moment - in the city - it's totally calm and pretty sunny.

Sounds like a quick moving storm to me.

I know what you mean. Luckily I wasn't able to watch last night as I was at the #1 vs #2 boys hs lacrosse game last night(Madison vs Delbarton). And of course Delbarton killed Madison, it was just that kind of night.

Would they play a day-night double header tomorrow? Or would the game be made up at a later date. Because if it is the latter then I wonder what that would do with the rotation.

My guess would be day-night since I don't think the Cubs come in again, but ya never know.

This is where 2+2 serves as a great PSA.

I always totally forget to close my windows when these storms come through. But now I've been thinking about it for the last half hour, so there was enough time for it to cross my mind.

You'll be able to mail back your ticket to seats to a future game, or show up to the box office with them and get tix to another game.
